Liquid and Data LLC ("Liquid and Data") operates several websites and services including liquidanddata.io, liquidanddata.com and related subdomains. It is Liquid and Data's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our services.
1. Privacy
1.1 Technical security
Liquid and Data understands that our customers entrust us with their data. Keeping your data secure and private is of the utmost importance, and we are careful to follow industry best practices to ensure that the data your entrust to us is secure.
1.2 Data Transfer
Liquid and Data provides software tools that implement data interchange between software and third party APIs. In implementing these software tools, all data transferred using our tools is encrypted using modern encryption with SSL / TLS. We do not store, inspect, or monitor data that is transferred with our software products.
1.3 Information we collect on our customers (i.e. you)
If you are a customer of Liquid and Data, we capture the following personal information to facilitate your account and deliver software tools and/or subscriptions you have purchased.

Limited credit / debit card information (last 4 digits of your payment method, the brand, and the expiry - all other data is stored securely within Stripe)

2. General
2.1. Website visitors
Like most website operators, Liquid and Data collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.
Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Liquid and Data's visitors use its website and to better provide related content to its visitors. From time to time, Liquid and Data may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
We do not keep logs for requests to our Marketing or Documentation sites, but IP address and other personally identifiable information may be collected from website visitors or users by one of our Subprocessors (all of which are listed in 1.4.).
2.2. Aggregated statistics
Liquid and Data may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. Liquid and Data may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Liquid and Data does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
2.3. Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Liquid and Data uses cookies to help Liquid and Data identify and track visitors, their usage of Liquid and Data's website, and their website access preferences.
Liquid and Data visitors who do not wish to have any cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Liquid and Data's websites, with the drawback that certain features of Liquid and Data's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
2.4. Disclosure of personal information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third-parties. This does not include sharing a limited subset of your information with trusted third-parties (our Subprocessors, which are outlined in 1.4.), who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to process this information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
Personal Information may be disclosed in limited circumstances, including, but not limited to meeting any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; the investigation of potential violations; addressing fraud, security, or technical issues; to protect and defend the rights or property of Liquid and Data; or in an emergency threatening an individual's life, health, or security. We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
2.5. Third-party content
Third-party content appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the partner to recognize your computer each time you interact with the content to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Liquid and Data and does not cover the use of cookies by any partners.
2.6. COPPA compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. The Act was passed by the U.S. Congress in 1998 and took effect in April 2000. COPPA is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. If you are under 13 years old, you cannot use our services.
2.7. Business transfers
If Liquid and Data, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Liquid and Data goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Liquid and Data may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
2.8. Privacy Policy changes
We may change this privacy policy from time to time. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice by adding a notice on our website or by sending you an email notification. We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy available for your review. We encourage you to review our privacy policy whenever you use the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
If you disagree with any changes to this privacy policy, you will need to stop using the Services and deactivate your account(s), as outlined above.
